The most common squirrel dealt with in Houston is the Eastern Gray Squirrel. They might be cute, but the damages they can do are quite the opposite. They like to chew there way into our walls and attics. From there they make a lot of unwanted noise, and cause various forms of damage. They can chew through electrical wires leaving them bear, and open to fire hazard. Once they have taken control of your attic, it becomes their home base. They travel about collecting and eating throughout the day making regular stops at their home base to store food. Once one is in and established, the scent from its urine and droppings attract EVEN MORE SQUIRRELS!
